Bradford Bulls v Castleford Tigers

Bradford head coach Steve McNamara has named an unchanged side for their game with the Tigers despite back to back defeats to Huddersfield and St. Helens.

Danny Sculthorpe and Michael Platt remain casualties and do not figure.

McNamara has revealed that his players are hurting after the disappointing start to the Super League season and would have been happy to play straight away on the back of the 38-6 reverse against the Saints.

“If we could have rearranged the game for Monday afternoon then we would have. The players would have been ready to play.”

Catsleford come into the game boasting an impressive recent history against the Bulls having secured the double over them last year.

They are able to name Ryan Clayton in their squad with the second rower expected to make his first start of the season after being sidelined for the opening games with an arm injury.

Talented youngster Nathan Massey comes into Terry Matterson's 19 man squad with John Davies dropping out.

Matterson will have to make at least one enforced change to his starting line up with Dean Widdlers set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines having undergone surgery in mid week to correct a knee injury.

Matterson is wary of a backlash from a talented Bulls side as he believes they are too talented to remain at the foot of the table.

“They've got too many good players to not strike form and it can happen quickly so we're under no illusions.”
